Isolated Pockets
cooler nights are lacking
It's week three of the fall season and it seems the lack of cooler nights (< 45°F) and above average highs are causing a slight delay in the onset of color.
🌡️
only two nights in the 40's above 5000' this month (barely), both 49.6°F and 49.7°F respectively
Once cooler temps arrive and/or we can string together 5 + cloudy days in a row, we'll see color change begin for a majority of the higher elevations.

For now, the best color is found in isolated pockets and even though the majority of the region remains without color, the few pockets that do are impressive.
